With our luxury accommodation in the old Riding House almost ready for it’s first guests, we’re looking to the Spring and what our surroundings of Dorset has to offer our guests visiting us this year. We’re in easy distance to many events and beautiful locations in the English Countryside so here’s our selection of unmissable activities near St Giles…

 

POOLE HARBOUR & ISLAND CRUISE

Take a 75-minute sightseeing cruise of Poole Harbour from Poole Quay and see impressive maritime sights like the Blue Lagoon, Brownsea Island and Corfe Castle.

 

JURASSIC SAFARI

Sit back, relax and enjoy Dorset's spectacular scenery and wildlife on a Land Rover safari, venturing into areas only accessible with a 4x4 vehicle. Your guide will share some fascinating local history and a few quirky Dorset tales along the way. 

 

OLD HARRY ROCKS

If you fancy taking a scenic walk to see the famous Old Harry Rocks, head to the coastline and don’t forget your camera! 

 

MUDEFORD QUAY

The Quay is a hub of activity with beautiful beaches, the lush grassed area ideal for picnics and enjoying the beautiful scenery and the Quayside itself which has a small shops, a pub, a fish stall and plenty of vantage points to watch the world go by.
